Makan on 30 Nov @ Auckland

Thanks to Teck Siew's careful planning, we took advantage of the First Table bookings for most of our meals! Indeed, the ratings proved to be reliable!

Dinner @ Auckland: Knights on Albert
The restaurant is situated in the hotel, which is owned by a Singaporean group. Well, no wonder the 'special' menu on the dining table listed the Singapore-style food.
Well, just touched down... so, not home-sick to the extent of hunting for Singapore food.

This was the first dinner of the entire trip... and 'fortunately' or unfortunately, it set the baseline what we had in NZ. On the other hand, it's the most entertaining meal we had for the entire trip. I guess, the motto of the restaurant is "Every Customer leaves as a Happy Customer", where service outshines its food.

We have extra servings of bread... because the chef needed to re-do the beef steak.

Baked sweet potato... actually quite sweet and tasty.

A very generous portion of the salad.

The not quite baked "bake potato".

Lamb steak... both the server and we forgot the sauce that it should come with...

Deserts - complimentary - hm... what's served at high tea.
