This is one of the highlights of Rotorua - that takes advantage of its geothermal features.
Unlike those in Japan, one can wear a swimsuit and 'hop' from one pool to another.
There are several outdoor pools with temperatures vary slightly, and supposedly with different mineral composition for each pool. The beautiful part is, these pools face Lake Rotorua.
A note: One can bring your own towels, else will need to pay a non-refundable NZD5 for a towel.
